Arapahoe County Parks are under the Arapahoe Recreation District and The City of Littleton. The Arapahoe Recreation District owns Cherry Creek Ecological Park , Cheyenne Arapaho Park , and Arapahoe County Community Park . The City of Littleton has over 1,477 acres of parks, amongst these are the following: Abbott Park, Acres Green Elementary School, Acres Green Trail, Alice Terry Elementary School/Park, Altair Park, Ames Elementary School/Park, Angeline Little Greenway, Bega Park, Bemis Public Library, Berry Park, Bessette, Arboretum, DeKoevend Park, Foxhill Park, Hamlet Park, and Horseshoe Park.
Arapahoe County Community Park is primarily used by are youth soccer and baseball clubs. Picnic pavilions are available for use. Cheyenne Arapaho Park , honors the Plains Indian tribes with its 2.5 acres of natural shrubs, wildflowers, and gravel walkways. Cheyenne Arapaho Park offers a medicine ring for those wishing to meditate. Cherry Creek Ecological Park is a natural, ecological reserve with crusher fine trails through various views along the creek and pond. A floating dock on the pond allows the visitor to view the area up close. A boardwalk crosses the wetlands and interpretive signage at appropriate locations guides visitors on a self-tour of the area. There is also a trailhead parking area, a school bus turnaround/student drop-off and restrooms for park users.
