The Arapahoe County Clerk & Recorder's office operates under the following 5 divisions: Clerk to the Board, Driver's License Division, Elections, Motor Vehicle, and Recording. The Arapahoe County Clerk & Recorder's offers Colorado renewals, out of state transfers, name and address changes and replacement of a valid Colorado driver's license.

The Clerk to the Board Division holds the historical records of the County such as audio recordings of official proceedings, resolutions, ordinances, and special district service plans and maps. The Clerk to the Board Division is responsible for maintaining the official records of the Board of County Commissioners' Public Hearings and Study Sessions as well as the official records of the other boards and commissions. The Recording department is held responsible for recording real estate information, military discharges and any other information where there is a need for a public record. This department also issues marriage licenses. The Arapahoe County Motor Vehicle Division handles the licensing and registration of vehicles for Arapahoe County citizens.
